摘要
This digital literacy initiative is an innovative program which aims to give prominence to adult learning from the educational practice point of view, in order to place the adult population in the core of that literacy process. This program is designed for adults with little or no knowledge on the use of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT). It started from a basic knowledge on ICT in order to start computer training processes. The main objective of this program is to provide an opportunity for adults of the "Poligono Sur" neighborhood in Seville (Andalucia, Spain) to obtain new skills and competencies in order to take advantage of the different opportunities of the current society. The results obtained with the program were very positive even though we made changes and improvements in it. The main part of the adult participant achieved the learning objectives initially raised by the proposal.
