摘要
Intraoperative navigation is increasingly used in surgery. Most of the commercially available systems for neurosurgery use surface markers (fiducials) which are attached to the skin to determine the position of the patient and to calculate a rigid coordinate transformation between preoperative images and the patient. Determination of marker position in the image as well as in world coordinates is subject to errors. In order to study the effects of these positional errors on the accuracy of intraoperative navigation, we chose a computer simulation approach, which will be described in this paper together with some results.
