摘要
Such inert anode comprises NiFe2O4, NiO and metallic Ni & Cu. Because the NiFe2O4 and NiO are semiconductors, the cermet anode also presents the specialty of semiconductor, and the electrical conductivity suddenly ascends at about 750 degrees C. NiFe2O4 is a kind of N-type semidconductor, which electric mechanism is due to charging and un-changing electron of Fe3+ ions to Ni2+ ions around them. So the Fe3+ ions own much more activity than others, which results in the un-proportional loss of Fe during the electrolysis.
