Ceramics of selected compositions in Pb(Fe1/2Ta1/2)O-3-Pb(Fe1/2Nb1/2)O-3 system were prepared using B-site precursor method and-was found to form continuous solid solutions of a perovskite structure. Whereas Pb(Fe1/2Ta1/2)O-3 showed typical relaxer behaviors, Pb(Fe1/2Nb1/2)O-3 showed little relaxation. Curie temperatures of the system changed nearly linearly with composition change.
