摘要
The author draws attention to the results of work done by the European Parliament in 2014-2019. Major foreign and domestic political resolutions are analyzed, as well as the attitude to them of the parliamentary factions. The most significant phenomenon of the elections in 2019 is the high turnout, as well as the weakening of the parliamentary positions of the traditional favorites of the elections in the EP - demochristians, conservatives and social democrats, along with the increase in the representation of nationalists and environmentalists. The author concludes that the mosaic composition of the EP will complicate its work, the interaction of various European parliamentary structures. The search for consensus in important decisions will be problematic. Increase the responsibility for the harmonisation of this process, Three main factions of the EP - demochristian, social Democrats and liberals. The issue "EP and Russia" will remain one of the important directions of the past and future activities of the European Parliament.
