摘要
This paper presents the opportunity to reduce energy costs in a water pumping station by analyzing selected energy suppliers' offers along with simulation of changes in the algorithm of pumps' operation. In search for the most advantageous economic solution the following energy tariffs were considered: tariffs with fixed price of energy during the day, multi-zone tariffs and Day and Night tariffs. For each considered case, pumps' control algorithm was changed to work as efficiently as possible in a chosen tariff. Water intake station model and conducted simulations were based on EPANET 2 software.
