On Slovak historiography (depolitization since 1989)

The study presents some final notes on the discussion about Slovak historiography. The author highlights the problems "depolitization" of Slovak history, as well as the fact that many ideas suggested at conferences and in miscellanies have not been finalized, for example in books. The author concludes with the statement that the role of Slovak history, as well as that of other Central and East European countries in the history of Europe, has still been left open investigation.
