摘要
Private universities in Indonesia nowadays are directed being motors for their students to have fields of private entrepreneurship. An XYZ information technology (IT) private university has a goal at a world-class university in the field of information and communication technology-based entrepreneurship. Its target is of at least 20% of alumni becoming entrepreneurs each year. The goals of entrepreneurship enacted by this campus are creating new entrepreneurs based on information technology (IT), improving business management skills for students, creating entrepreneurship training methods suitable for students who are starting an IT business. So to get this target is necessary to make a strategy in creating some students or alumni becoming entrepreneurs. Not all of students want to become entrepreneurs and funds in creating entrepreneurs are also limited, so recruiting and selection sought to be done. After getting at least 20 people qualify for selection as tenants while the target output is expected to have five new entrepreneurs based on information technology per year, then the approaching method could be applied. The tenants were given training, apprenticeship, industry partners, study visits and workshops. Then from 20 tenants would be selected the best 5 tenants to be given startup capitals. The pattern of tenant supervision starting from training until the tenant has succeeded in opening a new business.
