摘要
To improve the efficiency of geometric processing in geometric systems, the paper here proposed a new method of geometry index, feature-based hierarchy spatial index (FBHSI), depending on the hierarchy structure of form feature in a feature-based modeling system, and the boundary locality of features in solid models. The method that has been applied in the Boolean operator of solid models has been used in a feature-based modeling system ZD-MCADII.
