摘要：
In this paper, a Ka-band omnidirectional circularly polarized (OCP) antenna is presented based on the combination of dipole and a surrounding loop current antenna. The working frequency of the antenna is 34.5-35.5 GHz, simulation results show that the proposed antenna can achieve a -10-dB impedance bandwidth of 5.7% (ranges from 34.00 to 36.01 GHz) and a 3-dB axial ratio (AR) bandwidth of 6.6% (ranges from 33.40 to 35.70 GHz), the average gain at the working frequency is about 2 dBi at the azimuthal plane. The antenna has good omnidirectional property, high polarization isolation and low profile. Finally, the influence of some key parameters on the antenna performance has been studied.
