Magnetic and magnetostrictive properties of (Fe100-xCox)73.5Cu1Nb3Si13.5B9 wires

摘要
A study on the effect of Co additions and annealing temperature on the relative magnetic permeability mu(r), saturation magnetostriction lambda(s), saturation magnetization M-s and coercive field H-c of (Fe100-xCox)(73.5)Cu(1)1Nb(3)Si(13.5)B(9) (X = 0, 5, 10, 20 at.%) amorphous wires is presented. The thermal treatments performed on the amorphous wires at 550 degrees C, the optimum temperature for the nanocrystalline phase formation, leads to an improvement of the magnetic properties try achieving small values for lambda(s) and higher values for mu(r).
