An information ecology paradigm to intergovernmental information sharing of E-government

From the perspective of information ecology, E-government can be seen as the result of a process of co-evolution of different kinds of environments as technological, political, economical and institutional one. This paper primarily explores the research paradigm of information ecology of E-government, and puts forward an integrated analytical framework for intergovernmental information sharing based on the research paradigm. The framework is beneficial to exploring and understanding the interaction of information actors and information environments of the information ecology of E-government.
