摘要
Ineffective idle stop of the engine and frequent start-stop of vehicles is the main problem that the vehicle start-stop system is facing and the changing driving cycles are the primary cause of this problem. As a result, the purpose of this paper is to improve the overall fuel saving effect of the start-stop system by optimizing the control strategy under different driving cycles. This paper firstly analyzed the cause of ineffective idle stop and put forward two control parameters (delay the action time and set speed threshold) which were used to avoid the ineffective idle stop and frequent start-stop problem. Then selected four typical driving cycles and proposed the multi-mode control strategy which can improve the overall fuel saving effect, followed by obtaining the optimal control parameters respectively when minimize the idle time was taken as the optimizing objective and nonlinear constrained optimization method was adopted. The simulation result shows that this method can effectively improve the overall fuel saving effect of the start-stop system.
