摘要：
We present a short review of Prehispanic astronomy. Using some specific examples of material vestiges, like codices, stelas, mural paintings, etc., we show the significant role played by astronomy in cultural evolution of Mesoamerica. Besides we report the Mesoamerican practice of aligning architectural structures towards singular positions of sky objects at the horizon.
