Esterification kinetics of acrylic acid with higher aliphatic alcohol.

摘要：
Reults of research on esterification kinetics of acrylic acid with n-hexanole, n-octanol, 2-ethylohexanole and n-decanol in sulfuric acid (0.1 -2%) medium (used as catalyst) have been presented. Initial molar ratio of alcohol to acrylic acid were: 2:1, 3:1, 5:1, 10:1. The temperature vaned from 60 degrees C to 130 degrees C. The research was carried out in an isothermal. semibath reactor. Kinetic equations parameters have been stated. Results can be applied to the chemical processes design and to the optimization of industrial reactors.
