摘要
In the field of international law, the past decade has been one of extraordinary developments in the United States. These developments reveal that answers to so many questions of fundamental importance and ultimate power remain less than certain. Among the topics discussed in the report that follows are: What is the status of treaties and customary international law within the U.S. legal system? To what extent can the law state impact the foreign relations of the nation as a whole? What is the status of the judgments of international tribunals within the U.S. legal system? To what extent is the U.S. Constitution to be interpreted in light of international legal norms?
