摘要
The proper assortment of cutting parameters is essential for obtaining desired quality product during machining process such as drilling, turning, grinding and milling etc. The scope of the current work is to investigate the influence of cutting parameters on Surface Roughness (SR), Cutting Temperature (CT) and Cutting force (CF) measurement to obtain the optimal setting of these parameters. Three cutting parameters such as Cutting Speed (s), Feed rate (f) and Depth of cut (d) are selected for the study. The experimentation plan is designed using Design of Experiment (DoE) with 3 Factors & 3 Levels. L9 Orthogonal standardized Taguchi array was used for the experimentation and ANOVA was carried out to find the cutting parameter which affects the process significantly. In this work, C352 brass alloy are turned on conventional lathe using High speed steel. (C) 2020 Elsevier Ltd. All rights reserved.
