This study take its inspiration from Humberto Giannini's treatment of the "deadly sins " in their negativity, as "evil spirits ", in accordance with their meanings in the christian tradition. Here we will keep in mind Giannini's specialIntscript interpretation of those "evil spirits, " focusing on the "sins " of lust and gluttony, and placing this interpretation in relation with other meanders of self-interest that are worth considering for a reflection on pleasure. It goes without saying that we will always fall short of a thorough development of such a reflection, given the unlimited relational possibilities of pleasure that surpass the restricted experience, imagination and speculative capacities of each individual person.
