The rate of electronic messaging in an inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) population increased dramatically, with a small percentage of patients generating the majority of messages. Unique predictors of messaging rates included young age and greater number of messages to other providers. © The Author(s) (2020). Published by Oxford University Press. All rights reserved.
