摘要：
The article presents the process of reforming electricity generating industries due to liberalisation of the internal electricity market in the EU, and the increased role of the market with respect to production, transmission and distribution of electricity in the EU. The article describes the market operation and the main features of legislation in the energy sector, pointing out possible measures and activities, needed for the electricity market in the EU to become fully liberalised.
