摘要
Forming an effective New Product Development (NPD) team is of great importance for the success of NPD. With this regard, this paper proposes a Social Network Analysis (SNA) based approach to NPD team formation and builds a corresponding multi-objective optimization model by integrating the multiple attributes of individual knowledge competence, knowledge similarity and knowledge collaboration performance. Secondly, a Genetic Algorithm (GA) is developed to solve the proposed model. Finally, a real NPD team formation case is given to verify the application and effectiveness of the proposed model, and the GA is implemented to select the competent NPD team members for the formation of an effective NPD team.
