摘要
Online shopping is today a common form of purchasing goods and services. Increasingly, owners of traditional shops decide to implement e-commerce tools and platforms to increase sales, reach new customers, strengthen their position on the market etc. According to statistics, in 2015, almost 70% of the European Internet users made purchases over the Internet. The aim of this article is to provide general information on e-commerce, the current state of the B2C e-commerce market in Europe and to present the main problems of selling and purchasing online. The article also presents and results of research conducted on a group of Polish consumers on their interest and state of knowledge about online shopping as well as their purchasing preferences.
