FORMATION OF VORTEX STRUCTURES AT THE ELECTRIC ARC INTERACTION WITH GAS FLOW IN AN EXTERNAL MAGNETIC FIELD

摘要：
Mechanisms of secondary vortex flow generation are discussed. Two types of secondary vortex flows forming under the influence of electric arc on gas flow in an external magnetic field are described for two 2D cases. Experimental results of the investigations on flow structure and discharge shape for an essentially 3D case under consideration are presented.
