摘要：
This study aims to establish the relationship between the level of emotional intelligence of the children and that of their parents. We hypothesized that there is a direct correlation between the level of emotional development of children and parents. Two samples, one with 20 children and other with 20 parents participated in the study. The research was carried out during one school semester. Data were collected using an emotional intelligence test for parents and an observation grid for children. Our results confirm the hypothesis and highlight the relation between the emotional intelligence of parents and children. (C) 2014 Elsevier Ltd.
