摘要：
Manifest as well as latent familial risk factors of neglect are described according to a psychosocial definition of neglect. The unconscious dynamics of neglect are outlined. Using a case illustration of a family-oriented intervention, the dynamics of the disorder and possible approaches to aiding the treatment process are illustrated. This article concludes with an empirical overview of the effectiveness of family-related programs for child maltreatment and neglect.
