摘要
The reaction. at room temperature, of ethyl cellulose (EC) with bixin (a C-24-apocarotenoid) in acetic anhydride, with a catalytic amount of anhydrous sodium acetate, resulted successfully in the formation of a Michael addition product characterized as a new ethylcellulose apocarotenoid ether.
