Rule-based approaches for the recognition of driving maneuvers

摘要
To evaluate the impact of different devices equipping a vehicle, one needs to evaluate the consequences they have on the driving behavior. This requires to have at one's disposal a model of the driver behavior. To build this model, the psychologist we are working with, uses intensively records of driving scenarios, in which she manually recognizes the different maneuvers realized. This paper describes our attempt to build a software permitting first to automatically recognize the overtaking maneuver.
