摘要
An analysis is carried out to study the visco-elastic fluid flow and heat transfer characteristics in a saturated porous medium over an impermeable stretching surface with frictional heating and internal heat generation or absorption. Two cases are considered; namely (i) the sheet with prescribed surface temperature (PST-Case) and (ii) the wall heat flux (PHF-Case). Exact solution for the velocity field and the skin friction are obtained. Also, the solutions for the temperature and the heat transfer characteristics are obtained in terms of Kummer's function.
