摘要
Collection and cryopreservation of epididymal spermatozoa of a shot Argali ram was carried out in Mongolia. According to the viability and acrosome staining finished and evaluated in Hungary, 21.5% of the frozen/thawed spermatozoa remained alive and intact, proving that the genetic material of shot individuals may be saved also in this species. Further experiments and using the frozen spermatozoa for artificial insemination of domestic sheep are planned.
