摘要
As fixed cycle timing for traffic lights control are incompatible with the traffic flow changes,A intelligent control system is designed for adapting the traffic lane changes. A physical model of intersection traffic lights is established, with ultrasound and infrared to detect traffic flow, and through wireless network to achieve transmission information timely between adjacent intersections. Established a control model for crossroads traffic lights, some key parameters is obtained through Matlab test. Experimental results show that the scheme has a significant effect to improve the traffic efficiency and safety.
