摘要
This article proposes an event-triggered adaptive primary frequency control strategy for low-inertia microgrids with large penetration of renewable energy sources (RES). An adaptive control strategy strategy has been proposed which utilizes the event occurring information for providing fast frequency response (FFR) through operating point control of solar photovoltaic (PV) and/or power control through battery energy storage system (BESS) based voltage source converter (VSC). The control strategy utilizes the real-time information of solar PV power generation and event occurrence for providing FFR. Furthermore, a recovery control method is developed which can restore the power dispatch of solar PV based VSC and BESS based VSC to their initial operating state after providing FFR. The proposed control strategy has been evaluated on MATLAB/Simulink platform and performance of the proposed control strategy has been evaluated under different operating scenarios.
