The aim of this article is to present some considerations about how to identify the dining rooms -triclinia- in the Roman Houses of the North-eastern Iberian Peninsula In this way, we make use of all the archaeological dam related to triclinia its decoration. the situation on the house's plan. Its morphology. metrology and the context of the artefacts in order to discuss various interpretations of the functionality of this place Also, we submit a brief classification of these places and we examine sonic terms like oecus
