摘要
The Sudbury Neutrino Observatory (SNO) employs one kilotonne of ultra-pure D2O to measure the flux of B-8 neutrinos from the Sun through charged current (CC), neutral current (NC) and elastic scattering (ES) reactions. Based on data from "Phase I" of the experiment the non-v, component of the solar neutrino flux is found to be different from zero at the 5.3sigma level, providing strong evidence for solar v, flavour transformation into active species. Global analyses of SNO data along with other solar neutrino experimental data, favour the large mixing angle (LMA) MSW solution at the 99% confidence level compared to other oscillation solutions. Future measurements of the SNO experiment are also discussed.
