摘要
The paper is focused on the analysis of selected risks with a more detailed elaboration of systematic and unsystematic risks that need to be taken into account in the valuation of the company's capital. In the processing of risk analysis, the focus was on analyzing the development of the beta coefficient; country risk, capital market, as well as financial and business risks. The analysis was performed in selected production systems of the food industry in Slovakia in the period of 2003 - 2015. The paper compares the development of systematic and unsystematic risks as well as the impact of quantified effect risk on the value and performance of selected production systems. For capturing the expected development of selected risks, their progress is forecast with the application of mathematical - statistical methods. One of the benefits of the paper are the results obtained by analyzing risks and quantifying their impact on the value of selected production systems in the Slovak food industry, as well as the expected development of risks that may contribute to the modeling and planning of the future developments with the aim of minimizing the risks. The results thus obtained are highly valuable input that can be used in the construction of an early warning models focused on predicting the risk developments and their impact on the performance of production systems.
