摘要：
The article presents a brief overview of the archives origin and development as a political institution. From there, diverse interests intersecting on it are identified and it is evident that it is a disputed future between privilege and right. Based on a lived reflection and a historiographic review, the importance of this history of modern state space and for alternative social sectors is raised, so a call is made for the transformation of historical and political practices that determine nature of the archival institution.
