摘要
In this paper, by means of the computation of fixed point index, we obtain the existence of positive solutions for four-point boundary value problem involving the p(t)-Laplacian (phi(t, u'(t)))' + f(t, u(t)) = 0, t is an element of (0, 1), u'(0) = alpha u'(xi), u(1) = beta u(eta), where phi(t, x) = vertical bar x vertical bar(p(t)-2) x, p is an element of C([0, 1], (1, +infinity)), alpha, beta, xi, eta is an element of (0, 1), xi > eta, p(0) = p(xi), f is an element of C([0, 1] x [0, +infinity), [0, +infinity)).
