摘要
We propose two fundamental neural network models which may be involved in the biological memory system. One is a rhythm generator. The other works for rhythm selection. The rhythm generator shows multi-stable oscillatory mode. The oscillatory mode can be altered by a synaptic input. The rhythm selector sorts out the specific rhythm. The selected rhythm potentially contributes to memory. (C) 2004 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.
