Electric conductivity of liquid argon, krypton and xenon under shock compression up to pressure of 90 GPa

摘要
Liquid Ar electric conductivity equal to similar to 10(4) (ohm m)(-1) at pressures up to 70 GPa and liquid Kr and Xe conductivity of about 6 10(4)(ohm m)(-1) at pressures up to 90 GPa have been experimentally measured. Zones of exponential dependence of electric conductivity on temperature were detected. These zones allowed to determine the energy gaps values: (14.8+/-0.4) eV - in argon, (11.1+/-0.8) eV - in krypton and (7.6+/-0.5) eV - in xenon. A conclusion about Xe and Kr metallization under pressures of more than 40 GPa and greater than or equal to 70 GPa, accordingly.
