摘要
The evaluation of Information Technology (TT) has recently become an important subject of business as well as government. Informatization is one of the most effective means to improve quality of public service and productivity of an organization. Extensive investments are often budgeted and expanded to acquire IT into organizations. Decision-Makers (DM) are interested in determining whether efficient investment in IT has been made, whether the organizational strategic goals and objectives have been achieved through IT, and in which field further IT investment will be needed. In order to discuss these topics. his/her current organizational informatization level is needed to be known. This paper is to suggest a framework and indexes for evaluating organizational informatization levels. The framework has been developed to measure the public organizational informatization levels and has been used to perform a pilot project in Korea.
