The Development of the Top 500 Private Enterprises in China

Private enterprises in China have grown out of nothing and from a minor player to a large one. Among them, the Top 500 are undoubtedly the most successful representatives. From 1998, the Economy Department of All-china Federation of Industry & Commerce (ACFIC) carries on a nationwide investigation of the private enterprises every year. They issue the research data on "China Business Times". Based on it, the paper aims at the top 500 private enterprises of China, analyze their development from scale and efficiency, income distribution, region distribution, industry distribution and profession distribution, and bring forward some suggestions to help the top 500 private enterprises develop better.
