摘要
This paper provides a comprehensive overview of mathematical morphology research from their mechanism and technology. Based on the basic principle and architecture of image morphological algorithm, this paper introduces the technology and applications of mathematical morphology in image processing. In the basic theoretical framework of mathematical morphology, it profoundly studies three techniques widely used in image processing, which are noise filtering, feature extraction and object recognition, and deeply analyzes the advantages and disadvantages of their application backgrounds and practical applications. Finally, this paper puts forward some problems in the practical application of morphology. In future development, mathematical morphology will be further combined with wavelet, fractal and other methods to improve the existing image processing technology.
