摘要
Volt/VAr Optimization (VVO) is receiving great attention among the energy efficiency technologies for the purpose of minimizing energy losses. In doing so, load models play an important role. Inappropriate load modeling may result in incorrect calculations of energy losses. In this paper, various types of load model and their effect on energy losses in the distribution system have studied under VVO framework. Comparative studies for energy losses along with optimal settings of Volt/VAr Control (VVC) devices have been presented for various load model. Timeseries simulations are carried on modified IEEE-33 bus radial distribution system.
