AI-based Power Control of an All-Electric Aircraft

摘要
The control of the power generation, distribution and utilization in an all-electric aircraft is challenging. In this paper, an AI-based control of the power source which could be a synchronous generator is proposed that provides stable power to the AC and DC loads in the aircraft. By classifying loads into clusters of varying voltage levels, the proposed control system performs real-time power management while still maintaining the safety of operation. The simulation results reveal that the proposed AI-based GCU control system provides comparable performance in power generation and distribution efficiency as compared to other automatic generator control methods.
