A 1x1 802.11n WLAN SoC with Fully Integrated RF Front-end Utilizing PA Linearization

摘要
A 1x1 2.4GHz 802.11n draft compliant radio SoC with fully integrated front-end is presented. A linearized power amplifier is merged with a low noise amplifier to form an RF front end with built-in transmit/receive switch functionality. In HT20 mode, the radio can transmit 19.4dBm spectral mask compliant power and 18.4dBm EVM-compliant power at 65Mbps rate. The sensitivity from the port shared with the PA is -97 dBm at 1Mbps rate.
