This paper analyses long term course of diurnal amplitude of temperature (DAT) in Cracow. Diurnal values of maximal and minimal temperature, diurnal cloud cover observations (%), cloud genera observations and values of relative sunshine duration covering years 1958 - 2007 were used to the analysis. Long term variability of DAT equalled 2 degrees C. The main factor of DAT variability is atmosphere circulation specified by cloud cover amount and cloud genera.
