摘要
Duguetia Saint-Hilaire (1825: 35) comprises 94 species, 89 of which occur in the Neotropics, and the remaining four in Africa (Maas et al. 2003, Maas & Westra, 2010). It is placed in Duguetieae with Duckeanthus Fries (1934: 106), Fusaea Safford (1914: 64), Letestudoxa Pellegrin (1920: 654) and Pseudartabotrys Pellegrin (1920: 656), all in Annonoideae (Chatrou et al. 2012). Duguetia is one of the best represented genera of Annonaceae in the Brazilian flora and is recognized by the stellate and/or lepidote trichomes and aggregate fruits (Maas et al. 2003). According to BFG (2015), 66 species of Duguetia occur in Brazil, mainly in the Amazon (47 species) and Atlantic forests (16 species). In northeastern Brazil, 18 species are recorded, 11 of which are endemic to this region. While studying Annonaceae from the northeastern Atlantic Forest, a new species of Duguetia was found, here described and illustrated. Additionally, we discuss its affinities with related species and provide a key to the species, photos and illustration. Conservation status, ecology and geographic distribution of the new taxon is also presented. This study was based on fieldwork and herbarium collections from submontane areas of the Atlantic Forest from Pernambuco and Alagoas, in northeastern Brazil. Specimens from 13 herbaria (ALCB, EAN, ESA, HST, IPA, JPB, MAC, MUFAL, PEUFR, RN, UFP, UFRN and UNISANTA), online collections from other herbaria (RB and SPF), and relevant literature (Maas & Chatrou 1996, Maas et al. 2003, Pontes et al. 2004, Maas et al. 2007, Maas & Westra 2010, Lopes & Mello-Silva 2014) were studied to confirm the new taxon; acronyms follow Index herbariorum (Thiers 2014). Harris & Harris (2001) was followed for the morphological terminology.
