摘要
In the first part [1] of the work, a general methodology for retrofitting flexible heat exchanger networks (HENs) called downstream strategy was developed. In this part its application is presented in details for the test example from [2]. For comparison, the applications of others methods are described, too. They are: strategy based on the heuristic of minimal path of design disturbance and the method developed in [3]. The paper includes also relevant information on simulation computations and on program SIMHEN v.2.0.
