摘要：
The Longitudinal Study of Australian Children (LSAC) is a major research endeavour to assess emerging health and developmental concerns and their determinants in children. Previous longitudinal studies of children in Australia and New Zealand have contributed significantly, but have had limitations, which LSAC will attempt to address. A new generation of longitudinal studies is needed to enable transnational and historical comparisons.
