Finite element analysis for magnetic field of giant magnetostrictive actuator

摘要
An axial symmetry model of giant magnetostrictive actuator was built in this paper. Based on it, the magnetic field of the actuator was analyzed with finite element method, and the extension of giant magnetostrictive rod was calculated under different excitative current with numerical integration. According to comparison between the experimental results and modeling results, it can be obviously seen that the linear working domain of the actuator is estimated effectively.
