Satellite observation - A strategic stake for Europe: A new stage

It is the capability of making a decision about the positions to be taken and the actions to be conducted, without any external help, among others, to have one's sovereignty respected and to defend one's vital interests, but also to carry out one's economic development and to ensure one's population's welfare. This independence is shown, in particular, through its capability to act, through initiatives taken in order to prevent any threat or any crisis into which Europe would consider to be committed, or to solve it.
